"Androgynous" is a song by The Replacements featured on their 1984 album Let It Be. The song describes in positive terms a romantic relationship between two gender non-conforming individuals, and suggests that in future perhaps such relationships will be more accepted. Joan Jett's video features fellow musician John Doe as the book's author Dick, and Jett as Jane. U.S. Bombs singer Duane Peters also has a cameo as the father of young Jane.
