New Day Rising is the title track of Hüsker Dü's third studio record (1987). It's a kind of uptempo power statement. A year later, English singer-songwriter Robert Palmer releases the song on his live 3-double "Superstar Concert Series". Although Robert Palmer is the last one I expected to cover this song, he leaves the song in its entirety!
