A New England is a song by Billy Bragg. It appeared on the record Life's a Riot with Spy Vs Spy. The song became known in Kirsty MacColl's version. The original song had two verses. Because Kirsty MacColl thought the song was too short, he wrote two more verses. After MacColl's death, Billy Bragg only sings the four verse version. The Groovie Ghoulies play the hit version but in the raw punk way.
