William Robert Emerson (1925), was known during his recording career as Billy "The Kid" Emerson and more recently as Rev. William R. Emerson. He started is musical career in the Ike Turner's Kings of Rhythm. The cover is done by Robert Gordon, who was the lead singer of the New York punk band Tuff Darts a year earlier. He is joined by rock 'n' roll hero Link Wray.
