"River Deep - Mountain High" is a song by Ike & Tina Turner, released in 1966. The song was written by Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich, and Phil Spector. The latter also produced the song. The song has been covered many times. I chose the version of the Australian punk band The Saints. Since their founding in 1974, they have been playing an uptempo version. In 1977 they released it as a single.
