Elvis Costello - Shipbuilding

"Shipbuilding" is a song with lyrics by Elvis Costello and music by Clive Langer. The latter wrote the melody for Robert Wyatt, but he was not happy with the lyrics he had written himself. The original plan was to release four different versions of the song, then called 'Ten to Nine', as an EP with four different guest vocalists, but after Elvis had worked on the lyrics a bit more he changed the song to 'Shipbuilding', they decided to approach Robert Wyatt.
