Ronnie Spector - You can't put your Arms around a Memory

The song, written by Johnny Thunders, is considered his signature song. The title was taken from a line in the "Better Living Through TV" episode of the sitcom The Honeymooners. You can hear Peter Perret from The Only Ones sing the backing vocals. Although the song is interpreted to be about his heroin addiction the song was written before he was a member of the New York Dolls and before he ever tried heroine.
